Introduction
What caused the need to introduce Sunspot? There is not as high a demand for sustainable energy solutions as it has been due to, amongst other things, lowered energy prices. This has a big impact on B2C sales. In Germany, there is a higher demand for these kinds of solutions and a way for Ennogie to increase the revenue for our products.
Many B2C customers don’t need a large 25 kWp solar roof and there is therefore a demand for smaller solutions. We, therefore, introduce the Sunspot solution that will help us to reach out to a larger part of the market.
We will minimize the expenses related to operation work hours due to the solution being a standard solution in the following configurations: 2×12, 3×8 and 4×6 (rows x columns). Different configurations such as 12×2, 8×3 or 6×4 (inverted setup), are NOT supported and shall be seen as a regular project. Projects under 50 m2 are not to be sold as normal projects but as Sunspot solutions.
Sales
This solution is not to be sold directly from us but from pro-partners or other carpenters. Sunspot is only to be sold as a shelf product to external partners. It is, therefore, a stand-alone product that needs no further processing from Ennogie.
After a Sunspot is sold to an end customer, the contact details and Sunspot ID will be forwarded to Ennogie to be used in possible future complaint cases.
Every Sunspot sold to partners will be invoiced directly to Ennogie before shipping.

The price for Sunspot is currently set to 49.995 DKK (incl. VAT)
Operations
Every pallet of the Sunspot product will have its own unique Sunspot ID, generated by Ennogie. The Sunspot ID is saved in EIS (Ennogie Internal System), where packing lists, microinverter IDs and ECU IDs are stored for future use.
Until we officially release Sunspot as a ready-for-market product, trail sales will be sold and registered as regular projects. The purpose of this is to gain experience with this type of product, maturing it for the final product.
When registering in AP Systems, it’s possible to add comments indicating it is a sunspot project. It should be commented as Sunspot for future reference.
We have developed cable plans for the 3 variants in Danish and German.
The electrician shall fill out all necessary documentation to get the project up and running. However, we will investigate if it’s possible to automatically fill out the document based on the information that is sent back to us from partners.
Development
We are developing a new roofing component for the interface between the top of the Sunspot and the other roof material.
